Biloxi City Council approves new CB’S Jamaican Jerk restaurant

Today, the Biloxi City Council approved a new restaurant that will be located on the ground floor of the old Biloxi Public Library.

The construction and planning of the new CB’s Jamaican Jerk location will begin in nearly two weeks while the owner plans to open in December of this year or at the beginning of 2021.

While there is already a CB’s in Ocean Springs, the new addition will be right off of Lameuse Street in Biloxi under La Café Beignet.

According to Owner Clement Brown, the restaurant will be a new twist of authentic Jamaican flavor that will allow residents to indulge in the vibrant culture that is Jamaica. “The thing with this restaurant is that it’s going to mimic Jamaica perfectly. The sound, the taste, the ambiance, the feel, the decor, yes? When you arrive there, when you dine, it’s going to be like when did I get on a plane and go to Jamaica, you know? That’s exactly what I’m pushing for.”

Also CB’s will have a food tent at Cruisin’ the Coast this year for a preview of the new taste coming to Biloxi.
