Biloxi Alum Julie Segroves is reaching new heights at the Air Force Academy

We’re bringing you an impressive update on one Biloxi High School alum! At her most recent meet, Julie Segroves broke the Air Force Academy freshman school record jumping 13 feet four and a half inches! She was the highest placing freshman at the meet, placing 5th out of 32 girls.
If that isn’t enough to impress you, she is now ranked 2nd all-time at the academy for girl pole vaulters. She was also named the Mountain West Freshman of the Week for her performance at the Drake Relays and breaking the freshman record again.
Julie we are so very proud of you, but also not surprised one bit! Please know your gulf coast family is cheering for you always!
