Biloxi alum Colt Keith hits for cycle in historic performance
Biloxi High School alum Colt Keith made all kinds of history last night, going a perfect 6-6 with two home runs while hitting for the cycle.
That exact combination of things never accomplished by a Major League player and only four times has a player recorded six hits in a game.
Overall, the former Indian driving in seven out of 18 runs in a blowout win for the Erie Seawolves, the Double A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers.
Keith raising his batting average 34 points to .300 in just one game.
He was drafted by the Tigers in the fifth round of the 2020 draft and is the team’s second-ranked prospect.
