Biloxi alum Colt Keith blasts MLB Spring Training Home Run

Back in January, News 25 caught up with former Biloxi baseball star Colt Keith ahead of his first invitation to Major League Spring Training.

Moral of the story, the former Indian keeps hitting over .300 everywhere he goes and he’s doing it again with power.

In the eighth inning of today’s game between the Detroit Tigers and Philadelphia Phillies, Keith unloading an absolute missile to deep right field and over the concourse onto the highway.

Keith says he’s added about 30 pounds of muscle since being drafted in the fifth round by the Tigers in 2020 and it shows currently hitting at a clip of .400.

Tigers win 6-3.
