Below Freezing Temperatures Expected Tuesday Morning

Meteorologist Sam Lucey has a look at your extended forecast

We are expecting a cold night ahead with temperatures dipping to the mid and upper 20s inland, and near 30 at the coast under clear skies.

A Freeze Warning is in effect from 9pm Monday to 9 am Tuesday, so take precautions to protect outdoor plumbing and sensitive plants.

Veterans Day brings plenty of sunshine and slightly warmer high temperatures topping out in the upper 50s, with winds shifting from northeast to south by afternoon.

The rest of the week turns even warmer, with highs climbing into the 70s by midweek and staying that way through the weekend.

Most days will feature plenty of sunshine, though rain chances return late Saturday into Sunday as a few showers and thunderstorms move through.
