Beautiful Lights Adorn the Beauvoir for Christmas

It’s that time of year again: Christmas at the Beauvoir. Monday night marked the start of Stroll the Beauvoir for Christmas, which will be open from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and on Fridays for Family Night.

Guests can walk through the lit up garden, ride miniature ponies, and sip hot cocoa while enjoying the Beauvoir grounds. On Family Night, there will also be kids’ crafts and tours of the decorated Jefferson Davis home. Director of the Beauvoir, Greg Stewart, says there is something for everyone and it’s all affordable.

Stewart says, “What we wanted to do was make a Christmas event that the working people could afford. So it’s $5 a car on most nights, and on some nights, we’ve got a Charlie Brown Christmas and a living nativity out there in the front.”

Kids can take old fashioned pictures with Santa as well at the family friendly event.
