Beau Rivage is now open with safety guidelines in place

The Beau Rivage has been closed since March and today they finally reopened to the public.

When you go back to the casino you’ll notice some major changes. Mississippi casinos were allowed to open on May 21st.

While many casinos have been open, the Beau Rivage waited until today to welcome the public back. You will notice when you walk into the Beau Rivage there is sanitizing stations equipped with Germ X, masks, and other sanitary items.

Guests do not have to wear a mask, but they are strongly encouraged to. They will be asked to wear a mask where there are no barriers. All employees are required to wear masks.

The Beau added a handwashing station on their casino floor, complete with motion activated sinks, soap dispensers, and paper towels.

All employees will have their temperature taken before they begin work to make sure they are healthy.  Beau Rivage PR/Communications Director Mary Cracchiolo Spain said, “Our goal was never necessarily to be the first to open. We really wanted to make sure we got it right. We have one shot to get it right and that was the top priority. For us it was about being thoughtful with what we are doing and really understanding what those needs are.”

The Beau Rivage has placed plexiglass barriers at most of their tables. Chairs and machines are also spaced out to comply with social distancing guidelines.
