Baton Rouge Community Says Goodbye to Slain Officer

Today, a community said goodbye to a slain police officer in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
In a true testament to the lasting brotherhood of police, members of Montrell Jackson’s squad comforted his widow at his funeral.
They were among the hundreds of people who packed Living Faith Christian Center for Jackson’s visitation and funeral service.
He’s one of three law enforcement officers shot and killed July 17th, targeted by a man intent on killing police officers. CP Ivory Taylor Jr. with BRPD said, “In the weeks to come, when the cameras stop flashing, we got you. When the phone stops ringing and people stop visiting you, we got you.”
Officer Jackson, a ten year veteran, leaves behind a wife and infant son.
