Bark in the Park at MGM Park

Shuckers fans were able to enjoy tonight’s game against Jacksonville alongside their furry friend for the annual Bark in the Park event.
Raising Canes hosted the event last year as a way for fans and their dogs to socialize while enjoying the great game of baseball. The event was such a hit they decided to bring it back again this year.
This year, Bark in the Park kicked off with a new event, the Puppy Parade. Dogs and owners from all across the Coast were able to strut their stuff across the field before the game. Puppy Parade participant Scott Hinson said, “I was hoping that they were going to do stuff like this that, you know, you could bring your dog and he loves this kind of stuff, getting out with people and being out in the public, he loves it. We enjoy it too because we love him.”
This year’s Bark in the Park included more in-game activities such as a best dressed competition, loudest bark competition and even a most unique trick competition.
