Augmented reality hits the Gulf Coast

What started out as just a gift to Robert Ramey and Cheli Strumila’s godson of ‘Come to Life Artscape’ is quickly growing into a new phenomenon and it’s only here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

The Coast Observer and the Scanscape and Artscape Augmented Reality Agency are teaming up to give people a magical experience by implementing augmented reality in nightclubs, museums, casinos and much more.

Augmented reality is different from virtual reality where reality is replaced with a completely different world. With augmented reality, digital items and immersions are added to the real world for a much more realistic feel.

To get connected download the Artscapes app then whenever you pick up the cover of an Observer magazine, hit scan on your phone and the images come to life.
