Attendance Incentive Program

Getting up for school bright and early every day can be tough, but one group of students from Pass Road Elementary made showing up to class every day a priority.

This morning their dedication was rewarded, the Bannister Foundation took students who had 97 percent perfect attendance on a field trip to Infinity Space Center.

Jayahal Jefferson was one of the Pass Road students rewarded with a fun day at the space center and says there are a number of reasons why she showed up ready to learn almost every day this year. “Because it is important to get education.  I enjoy that I get to see my friends and my teachers. I want to be a cosmetologist.”
