Arrests Made in String of Gulfport Burglaries

The Gulfport Police Department has made arrests in a string of burglaries throughout the city over the past week.
Thirty-year-old Rinaldo Norris has been charged with three counts of armed robbery and 36-year-old Kezi Jefferson has been charged with one count of armed robbery.
The arrests were made after the armed robbery at a Papa John’s last night. Norris was located and arrested after he pointed a gun at an employee, demanded money and then fled on foot. Jefferson was later located in the suspect’s vehicle that fled the area as officers were arriving.
In a follow-up investigation, police discovered Norris was also the suspect involved in a March 11th armed robbery at a Subway on 25th Street and a March 18th armed robbery at a Subway on Pass Road.
The two are being held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center.
