Arrested on a warrant for auto burglary

The Biloxi Police Department arrested Jason Andrew Phillips on a warrant for auto burglary.

The arrest warrant stemmed from an investigation into an auto burglary case that occurred in the 100 block of Hwy 90, Biloxi MS on May 29th, 2020. During the course of the investigation Jason Phillips was identified as the suspect and Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain issued an arrest warrant with a $25,000.00 bond for Phillips.

Officers located Phillips’ vehicle in the 1900 block of Hwy 90 Biloxi MS.  While waiting for Phillips to return to his vehicle the officers observed him break into another vehicle before they could arrest him on the outstanding warrant.

Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain was contacted and issued another arrest warrant with a $100,000.00 bond for Phillips on the new auto burglary charge.

Phillips was later transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center where he is being held on a total of $125,000.00 bond.
