Arrested for drug trafficking

Two Coast natives are facing life behind bars after being arrested by federal authorities on drug trafficking charges.

Forty-six year-old Keith Brown of Moss Point and 35-year-old Jaycie Thomas of Ocean Springs have been charged in a three count federal indictment after the two reportedly conspired with each other, beginning in 2009, to possess at least five kilos of cocaine in South Mississippi.

If convicted, Brown and Thomas face up to life in prison and fines of up to ten million dollars.
