Arrested for child endangerment

In Moss Point, police are investigating an incident which occurred on Saturday where Moss Point police officers attempted to stop a vehicle before the driver sped off striking a power pole.
Twenty-four year-old Travis Pierce has been arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, felony fleeing, and felony child endangerment after police discovered four other people inside the vehicle, including an 18 month toddler.
After searching the vehicle and the occupants, officers found several substances believed to be illegal narcotics.
Pierce is being held at the Jackson County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
