Arrested for burglary of a business and motor vehicle theft

Gulfport Police arrested and charged two 18-year-olds with burglary of a business and motor vehicle theft.

On July 15, 2020, the Gulfport Police Department arrested 18-year-old Marquise Buckhaulton on four counts of burglary of a business and four counts of motor vehicle theft.

On July 16, 2020, the Gulfport Police Department arrested 18-year-old Kristopher Thomas on four counts of burglary of a business and four counts of motor vehicle theft.

On July 12, 2020, at approximately 7:42 a.m., officers of the Gulfport Police Department responded to 647 Pass Road, in reference to a burglary of a business. During the course of investigation, it was discovered that three additional burglaries had occurred: Value Auto Sales, Eaton Whole Sales, and Coast Auto Brokers were also burglarized. During the burglaries, several vehicles had been stolen off of the lots.

After booking and processing, Buckhaulton was charged with four counts of burglary of a business and four counts of motor vehicle theft. Buckhaulton’s bond was set at $60,000.
