Arrested for aggravated assault
Gulfport police arrested Frederick Washington Jr., charging him with one count of aggravated assault.
Police say they responded to a report of shots fired from the area of 18th Street and 38th Avenue. Officers found a black man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
He was transported to a local hospital where his condition is currently unknown.
Washington’s bond is set at $50,000.
