Arrest Made in Deadly Hit and Run

An arrest has been made in Tuesday night’s deadly I-10 crash in Pearl River.
Louisiana State Police arrested 25-year-old Daniel Alex Coy of Gulfport. Coy is the driver of the dark colored pick-up truck that ran an 18-wheeler off of the highway and into the Pearl River, killing the driver, 26-year-old Steven Shawn Clark of Theodore, Alabama.
Coy was transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center where he awaits extradition to Louisiana. He is being charged with negligent homicide, reckless operation and felony hit and run.
