Arrest Made in Connection to Biloxi Shooting

A D’Iberville man is behind bars this morning, charged with aggravated assault after a shooting injured two people. Early this morning, police arrested 23-year-old Ira Akeem Henry in connection with a shooting that happened near the 800 block of Motsie Road in Biloxi.

Two men were shot and injured in that shooting. According to initial reports neither victim has injuries that appear to be life-threatening.

Meanwhile, Henry is being held on a $200,000 bond at the Harrison County Jail. There is no official word yet on a motive.
