Army band performs at St. Patrick High School
Members of the Pride of St. Patrick band at St. Patrick Catholic High School received a special performance this morning.
The 41st Army Band stopped by the school to play a few tunes for the young musicians. The Army band is stationed in Jackson and is made up of more than three dozen soldiers from six states.
The band, which often performs in small teams and can sometimes include as many as three dozen musicians, performed an array of musical ensembles from rock to jazz.
One member of the Army band drove from Atlanta, Georgia to play for the students today.
