Armed Robbery Suspect Charged with Four Additional Counts of Armed Robbery

On March 18, 2016, the Gulfport Police Department arrested 30 year old Rinaldo Eugene Norris Jr., of Gulfport, on 4 additional counts of Armed Robbery.
The arrests was the result of follow up investigations into the recently reported armed robberies.
On March 02, 2016 at approximately 10:40 a.m., the Gulfport Police Department responded to Loan Max located at 422 Pass Road in reference to a reported armed robbery.
On March 07, 2016 at approximately 9:50 a.m., the Gulfport Police Department responded to Mississippi Title Loans located at 909 Pass Road in reference to a reported armed robbery.
On March 07, 2016 at approximately 6:15 p.m., the Gulfport Police Department responded to Metro PCS located at 91 Hardy Court Shopping Center Road in reference to a reported armed robbery.
On March 11, 2016 at approximately 5:20 p.m., the Gulfport Police Department responded to Loan Max located at 422 Pass Road in reference to a reported armed robbery.
In each robbery, the suspect entered the business brandishing an unknown caliber handgun while wearing a mask and dark clothing. He demanded money and later fled the business after obtaining an undisclosed amount of money.
During the follow up investigations, it was determined that Norris was the suspect involved in the aforementioned robberies. At that time, warrants were obtained for his arrest on 4 counts of armed robbery. Norris was later served with the arrest warrants at the Harrison County Adult Detention Facility.
After booking and other procedures, Norris was given a $200,000.00 bond set by Harrison County Justice Court Judge Brandon Ladner.
