Anchor Lake Dam’s structural integrity is good
PEARL RIVER COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- In Pearl River County, MEMA and MDEQ crews continue to monitor the Anchor Lake Dam in Carriere.
The good news is there’s high confidence in the dam’s integrity, after concerns Thursday that the dam might fail.
People previously evacuated from the Anchor Lake subdivision were allowed to return to their homes, as those emergency management crews remain on site to ensure the dam will continue to function as normal.
