Alleged Purse Snatchers Caught in Pennsylvania

Authorities in Greensburg, Pennsylvania captured the two suspects who allegedly snatched a purse from an elderly woman after shoving her to the ground.
Thirty-eight year-old Archie Culbreath and 28-year-old Lindsey Newman of Kentwood, Louisiana sit in the Westmoreland County Prison. The two face charges of simple robbery and each have a $50,000 bond.
Their pictures were shared on Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers Facebook page over one thousand times. According to Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards, Newman was also wanted in Louisiana for simple robbery of an elderly man from the Kentwood area where Newman allegedly forcefully took the victim’s wallet and removed the cash from within. The two currently await extradition back to Mississippi.
Family members of the elderly woman who was shoved to the ground tell News 25 that she is slowly recovering after fracturing her pelvis. She has a physical therapist who comes to her home and works with her to gain her mobility back.
