Aggravated DUI arrest

On Saturday, Gulfport police arrested 31-year-old Christopher Garrett of Biloxi, charging him with one count of aggravated DUI and one count of possession of a controlled substance.
According to police, Garret ran a stop sign, striking a 1999 Toyota Camry at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Arkansas Avenue. The Camry had six occupants.
The accident caused critical injuries to an 11-year-old female and serious injuries to a 17-year-old female and 12-year-old female.
Garrett’s bond is set at $200,000 for aggravated DUI and $50,000 for possession of a controlled substance.
