The festival footprint has expanded and includes more than 100 artists, crafters and plant growers from around the region displaying a mixture of paintings, pottery, wood work, garden art, and more.

The festivities begin on March 28th at 10:30 a.m. with Patt Odom, teacher and artist, who will speak on her works which are inspired by beauty and color. At 11:30 a.m., Alex Perry, chef and owner of Vestige, a modern American restaurant, will share a tasty recipe. At 1 p.m., Gail Hendrickson who specializes in the most unique and whimsical metal art on the coast, will share her creativity for the arts. At 2 p.m., Courtney Farms home and garden shop will provide a demonstration on living wreaths followed by Jean Sparkes, hand weaver who will share her passion for the craft at 3 p.m.

We have partnered with the Ocean Springs Art Association and the Ocean Springs Fresh Market to bring this year’s demonstration area. The artist demonstration, cooking demonstration and speakers will be located under a tent at the L&N Depot Plaza.

Staff of the Walter Anderson Museum of Art will also take part in the creativity and will bring along a "community pop up pocket park" with hand crafted pieces for play to help children learn, build, and enjoy the arts. This piece will be featured along the festival route in a grassy area.

Spectators will undoubtedly find their share of colorful flora for purchase throughout the festival, but with artist Walter Anderson’s passion for nature, those attending will not want to miss the Walter Anderson Museum of Art exhibit flowing with vibrant colors of nature inspired by Walter himself.

This year’s festival is hosted by the Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce-Main Street-Tourism Bureau and is sponsored by Chevron Products Company, Pascagoula Refinery, Greenhouse on Porter, M&M Bank, Ocean Springs Gazette, and South Mississippi Living.
