Academic Signing Day at D’Iberville High School

D’Iberville High School invited everyone to ‘The Greatest Show’ for their annual Academic Signing Day event.

This event showcased 144 senior students as they signed their academic scholarships and military commitments. Teachers and students participated in ‘The Greatest Show’ as D’Iberville recognized some of the school’s greatest achievements such as an amazing graduation rate and ACT scores.

Senior Claire Gautreaux plans to attend MGCCC and she tells News 25 that after four years of high school, graduation will be a bittersweet moment. “Four years go by so quickly, but you really don’t realize how quickly it goes by until you are in the spot. I still feel like I’m a freshman honestly. So, just being here, after four years at this school, I feel so appreciative.”

According to the Harrison County School District, D’Iberville High School has a 90.17 percent graduation rate which is the best in the district.
