Absentee Voting Ends Tomorrow

Saturday is the deadline for absentee voting before Tuesday’s party primaries in Mississippi.
Circuit Clerks’ offices are scheduled to be open until noon Saturday for people to cast absentee ballots.
Democrats and Republicans are having primaries for statewide races such as governor, regional races such as public service commissioner, legislative seats and county offices such as sheriff and supervisor.
Mailed in absentee ballots must be received in circuit clerks’ offices by close of business on Monday.
State law allows people to vote absentee if they will be out of town on Election Day or if they’re permanently disabled or are at least 65-years-old.
