Sea Wolves head coach hosts meet and greet in Gulfport

Sea Wolves hockey will be here before you know it and the head wolf made a pit stop in Gulfport to give a hello to fans.

As the first hockey match gets closer, Chandeleur Island Brewing Company held a meet and greet with Coach Phil Esposito to get people fired up.

Fans were able to chat and drink with coach in the laid-back environment and take pictures.

Chandeleur Island Brewing Company is also showing their support for the team by collaborating with Esposito and other Sea Wolves officials to create a Sea Wolves themed beer which is scheduled to come out when the season starts.

Coach Esposito tells News 25 he can’t wait to introduce the players to the community as they have all been working hard to ensure they are in a winning headspace. “I do a lot of research on each player and stuff. We want to get the right fit of player, not only for just hockey wise, but for the players in the community and everything else and stuff. So, it’s been a process, but we will get through it. We got a lot of really good players we signed already and I’m pretty confident we’re going to have a good team this year coming up.”
