D’Iberville Police searching for suspects in weekend armed robbery

D’Iberville Police Officers responded to the Keith’s Superstore on Central Avenue on Saturday about an armed robbery.
Officers met the clerk at the store, who told them that two black males robbed him at gunpoint, taking an unknown amount of cash.
Surveillance footage shows the suspects were dropped off just north of the store and approached on foot. They entered the store about 10:38 p.m. and both pointed firearms at the clerk. The suspects then went behind the counter and took cash from the register, then fled the store heading north.
Police believe the suspects were picked by a dark-colored sedan-type vehicle.
One subject was described as a black male wearing a black face covering, a black hoodie with a white stripe on the sleeves, a red hat, blue medical-style gloves, black pants, and black shoes. He was carrying a silver revolver-style pistol.
The second subject was described as a black male, wearing a black face covering, a black hoodie with white writing on the chest, blue medical-style gloves, black pants, and white shoes. This subject was carrying a black semi-automatic-style pistol.
