Habitual offenders sentenced on drug charges
Two habitual offenders have been sentenced on drug charges for their fourth felony convictions.
Forty-one old Clarence Kennedy Jr. and 37-year-old Curvis Ladner pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance.
Kennedy is also being convicted of possession with intent to distribute meth. He has been sentenced to seven years without the possibility of parole due to his three prior convictions.
Ladner, who has three prior convictions, has been sentenced to six years running consecutively to his most recent prior conviction.
