Waveland Lighthouse Pavilion open to the public
The long awaited Waveland lighthouse, pavilion, and bathroom facility is finally open to the public.
This project, led by Mississippi based company Barnard and Sons, took about ten months of construction. Local leadership says this project is a great example of a successful collaboration between Waveland and Hancock County Board of Supervisors.
Money used from the Gulf of Mexico Energy Security Act Funds, Tideland Trust Funds, and Seawall Tax Funds made this possible.
A ribbon cutting will be announced in the near future.
