Party in Pink Zumbathon this weekend

If you’re in the mood to dance, you’re in luck! You can get your Zumba on this weekend while giving back to a good cause.

The sixth annual Party in Pink Zumbathon will take place this Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Salvation Army Kroc Center in Biloxi. The event is free to attend, but donations can be made online or at the event.

Proceeds donated go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation to help with breast cancer prevention.

This year’s event will feature a few differences. Zumba instructor Genevieve Henderson said, “It’s different because it’s between 5 and 9. We’ll have vendors. We’ll have a silent auction. This year, since it’s free, which is another difference, since it’s free; we knew it’s coming close to holiday times because people are trying to save money. We would like to have donations if possible, but it is free to bring your family and friends.”
