Holiday shrimp boil at Bozo’s Too Restaurant
This afternoon, the Bacot McCarty Foundation, Bozo’s Too Restaurant, and F.E.B. Distributing kicked-off the holiday season at the 3rd annual Holiday Shrimp Boil.
All three organizers of the event will distribute $40,000 to $50,000 in funds to local non-profit agencies. There was a complimentary shrimp boil, along with Tay’s Barbecue for foundation supporters and non-profit agency heads. There was also live entertainment to go along with the holiday festivities.
The shrimp boil is a great way to say thanks to all of the supporters. Todd Trenchard with the Bacot McCarty Foundation said, “That’s what I think makes the Bacot McCarty Foundation a little bit different. We try to bring everybody together and we have the ability to put on these events and it actually helps them further their cause.”
Trenchard tells News 25 not every event is to raise money. Sometimes events are put on simply to bring the community together.
