Memorial Service for Steve Cobb

Memorial services for Desoto National Forest Engineer, Steve Cobb, are set for this Friday and Saturday. 55 year old Cobb, of Wiggins, died Monday when his helicopter crashed while monitoring a prescribed burn in the Desoto national Forest. A second victim also died in the crash. Meanwhile, a third passenger in the helicopter remains hospitalized. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
