Grand opening of H&M in Gulfport

Heavy rain and wind couldn’t keep dozens of shoppers away from the grand opening of H&M at Gulfport Premium Outlet today.

Those eager to check out the new store were lined up outside as they waited for the doors to open. Those lined up received coupons and a first look at the new store.

News 25 spoke to shoppers and most agree they are excited they no longer have to drive to New Orleans or Mobile to shop at H&M. “So excited that we finally have one. We were here at 11 today. We were here waiting outside, waiting to come in.”

“I’m very excited. I don’t have to travel to New Orleans any more.”

H&M is on the south side where GAP used to be. It will be open Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
