4/6 – Brittany’s “Approaching Cold Front” Afternoon Forecast
A few afternoon showers/t-storms will be possible including this evening as a cold front moves through the area. If the lift can be realized and overcome the dry air, the mid-level dry slot could bring down some gusty winds. Overall, the severe threat looks very low but showers and a few storms are still possible. Any storms that do form will diminish or move east by midnight.
The cold front fully moves through tonight so overnight low temperatures will drop into the mid-40s to mid-50s tonight. Temps continue to fall with highs Thursday in the lower to mid-70s and lows Thu night will be in the lower 40s to lower 50s.
An extended period of dry conditions will continue into the weekend. Warming temps won’t be seen until Saturday with highs Friday in the upper 60s to lower 70s and warming into 70s for Saturday. Lows Friday night will also be the coldest of the week, upper 30s to upper 40s.
