Biloxi Mayor’s Race Starts to Heat Up
Gilich was the first to turn in his papers to the City of Biloxi Thursday. He then made his public announcement Friday. Gilich is a Biloxi native and says he is a hard worker who understands how to get the job done. He worked a variety of odd jobs until starting his own company, Gulf South Analytical Service, which served as Biloxi’s financial software.
Gilich says, “We installed it, implemented it, and I oversaw its daily operations for 15 years. So I know quite a bit about the way the city business of Biloxi operates and I’m ready to start leading our city day one.”
Gines says, “I’m concerned about our veterans, I’m concerned about Keesler Air Force Base, I’m concerned about tourism. So I’m going to talk on some on those points and of course talk about my family a little bit more.”
The special Biloxi mayoral election is April 28th.
