02/28 Ryan’s “Mardi Gras” Tuesday Afternoon Forecast
Happy Mardi Gras Gulf Coast! Today’s weather was the best we could have hoped for under the current conditions. Instability is on the rise, but we managed to say rain free (thanks to dry air aloft) and the cloudy skies kept it from getting too oppressively hot. Expect the cloudy skies and moderate winds from the South to remain overnight, bringing in another foggy morning, but the cold front moving through Wednesday evening will usher in some cooler and drier conditions through the weekend. The nicer conditions and high pressure remain until Sunday, when the ridge will begin to weaken, and we’ll begin seeing another frontal system moving in. That means we’ll see warm, cloudy, and humid conditions begin to return as we begin the work week, so do your best to enjoy this much sunnier weekend!
