Biloxi homeless man charged in death of another homeless man
Biloxi Police have arrested a homeless man in connection with the death of another homeless man.
David Thomas Jordan, 63, is charged with first degree murder. He was taken to the Harrison County jail, where he had a bond of $1 million set by Judge Albert Fountain.
Biloxi officers responded to a wooded area near Popps Ferry Road and Cedar Lake Road for a welfare check on occupants of a homeless camp.
When offices arrived, they found a 52-year-old man who appeared to be the victim of assault.
The investigation identified Jordan as a suspect. He was found at the camp and was arrested. The motive for the attack is still under investigation.
The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of family.
