Late Night Shooting in Pascagoula Leads to Arrest

A Moss Point man is awaiting charges after being involved in a late night shooting in Pascagoula.
Pascagoula police arrested Moss Point resident Cisrow Wallace Lewis after a 911 call about a fight on Kenneth Avenue near Telephone Road last night. Authorities say one man was sent to the hospital after Lewis shot the victim in the leg. The incident happened in the 1500th block of Kenneth Avenue shortly after 11 p.m. on Sunday.
Lieutenant Doug Adams tells News 25 from what police gathered from the investigation, the incident stemmed from an argument in Moss Point. “This is just strictly a matter between two guys that know each other. It isn’t anything to be worried about in the neighborhood or traveling down that road. This is just an isolated incident that happened between two people that know each other on a personal basis that investigators are still trying to determine the reasons behind it.”
According to authorities, Lewis claimed the shooting was an accident.
