Gulfport faces off against D’Iberville in the 2021 Adidas Holiday Classic championship game
The third and final day of the 39th annual Adidas Holiday Classic hosted by Gulfport High School. It all came down to two Coast teams, Gulfport and D’Iberville, duking it out on the hardwood in the championship game.
Warriors coming in as Holiday Classic defending champs, Admirals looking to capture the home tournament.
In overtime, the Warriors get the best of the Admirals 47-43 and become back-to-back Holiday Classic champions.
Fighting for third place was Picayune and Yazoo City. Maroon Tide wins on a buzzer beater 45-44.
In the second game of the day, fighting for fifth place, was Moss Point and Meridian. Moss Point loses this one 62-30.
In the battle for seventh place, Harrison Central battled Wayne County. The Red Rebels stormed back from a 17-point deficit to defeat the War Eagles in overtime 59-58.
