Greenville Teacher Could Lose License

The Greenville teacher accused of abusing her student will soon find out if she will lose her teaching license. Tomorrow morning at 9 in Jackson, the commission on teacher and administration, education, certification and licensure will hear the case of “Linda Winters-Johnson”. A widely circulated video shows Winters-Johnson dragging a special education student by the hair and then striking the student with a cup on September 21st. The Mississippi Department of Education has charged Johnson with violating the Mississippi Educator Code of Ethics for mistreating a student.
