MSDH reports 1,112 new COVID-19 cases and 10 deaths statewide

Today, MSDH is reporting an additional 1,112 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and ten deaths.

Six of these deaths occurred between October 1^st and October 5^th and four deaths occurred between September 6^th and September 29^th, identified from death certificate reports.

Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases is now 493,670 with 9,778 deaths.
