America’s Thrift Store opens a new store in Biloxi
America’s Thrift Stores announced the opening of its second store in the coastal Mississippi area.
America’s Thrift Store is located at the Edgewater Village Shopping Center in Biloxi. The grand opening will be on Thursday, September 30th at 8 a.m. and the grand opening celebration will continue into the weekend with events, giveaways, and a DJ through Saturday, October 2nd.
The Biloxi store is more than 16,000 square feet and will restock more than 10,000 new items every day.
America’s Thrift Store has 23 stores including one in Ocean Springs. America’s Thrift Stores CEO Ken Sobaski said, “I think we’ll surprise them. Our tag line is ‘where it’s a new store every day’ and the reason we say that is literally every day we put 10,000 new items onto the sales floor. So, if what you’re looking for isn’t here today, it may be here tomorrow or the next day when you walk in this store. We think we look more like a TJ Maxx or a Ross, but it’s all gently used items at thrift values.”
America’s Thrift Stores will be hiring 80 employees for the Biloxi store.
