Pothole Blocks Roadway in Gulfport

With many people taking to the roads this weekend, beware of a large pothole at the intersection of 49 and 90.
The large hole opened up on the left turning lane, going south on Highway 49 to Highway 90. The area is blocked off and officials urge you to use caution when approaching the area.
City officials say it should be repaired by Friday, but with heavy traffic flow expected through the extended weekend please be aware of any possible road hazards.
