Last chance for Round Island Lighthouse engravings
It’s your last chance to become part of Pascagoula history by engraving your name into the bricks at the Round Island Lighthouse.
Many local names are carved on the bricks around the lighthouse which originally welcomed ships on Round Island for 150 years before undergoing major damage from hurricanes. The historical monument was then rescued and relocated to Pascagoula’s mainland in 2010.
Officials with the City of Pascagoula tell News 25 the bricks would make for a great Christmas present for families on the Coast.
To get a brick engraved go to www.cityofpascagoula.com. December 31st is the final day to purchase bricks.
