8/29 – Rob’s “TD #9 Impact” Forecast

An upper-low off the East Texas coast will continue to provide for showers/t-storms in the NW’tern Gulf and along the southern Louisiana coast. TD #9 now in the SE’tern Gulf is projected to move west along the outer edge of the Bermuda high through Tuesday when it should begin a north turn. By Wednesday night this turn will shift to the NE with a path towards the Florida Big Bend area, with landfall is projected to be Thursday afternoon/night. If this path is true, a northerly wind will begin Tuesday for the local area. This will bring breezy conditions along with subsiding air and dry conditions to south Mississippi. As always, this is subject to change so stay tuned to Wxxv25 for continue information.
