6/28 – Rob’s Tuesday Morning Forecast

With a cold front in northern Mississippi moving south, showers and t-storms are expected once again. The activity is in the area, but currently over the sound moving south. Today will bring elevated rain potential at 60%…increasing tomorrow as the front moves through the area and into the northern Gulf. HEAVY RAIN is once again a possibility as these storms are SLOW MOVERS and capable of dropping a good bit of rain during their life cycle. Slight cooler temps will be in the area attributed to the cloud coverage and rain-cooled air. Rain chances will decrease Thursday as the front moves south, with morning showers/t-storms Friday through the 4th of July.
