CTA bus stop moved to new location at Edgewater Mall

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- Effective Sunday, November 8th, 2026, the new bus stop and fare zone for the Edgewater Mall will be located on the east side of Murphy USA Gas station in the mall’s north parking lot.

The former bus stops near Murphy USA Gas on Ct Switzer Sr Drive, will be relocated to the new stop, due to its close proximity.

This new location will also allow CTA to keep the Old Eisenhower Drive stop (Near Wendy’s). There will be no changes to route times and fare zone for Route 1 (Beachcomber) or Route 34 (Pass Road).

For clarity, the Edgewater Mall was not responsible for the elimination of the Murphy USA Gas bus stops being removed from CTA’s route. CTA made the decision to remove additional stops to work with the former fare zone relocation.

With the new location’s proximity, Coast Transit Authority is able to restore and combine bus stops to maintain our routes and timing.
