Looking quiet and comfortable through the weekend
Meteorologist Sam Lucey has a look at the forecast for south Mississippi
Tonight will be partly cloudy with temperatures dropping to around 70.
Friday looks sunny and nice, with a high near 88 and a northeast breeze around 10 mph. By the evening, skies will be mostly clear and temperatures a little cooler, with lows falling into the mid and upper 60s.
The weekend stays dry too!
Saturday will be sunny with a high near 89, followed by another mild night in the upper 60s. Sunday will be mostly sunny and a little warmer, with highs bouncing back into the low 90s.
Temperatures remain near 90 through Monday and Tuesday, with plenty of sunshine and increasing dew points.
By Tuesday, winds will start to pick up out of the southeast, allowing us to tap into some Gulf moisture ahead of our next weather maker.
Our next noticeable changes arrive Wednesday as the chance for showers and storms increases, and likely continues into Thursday. Temperatures will stay in the upper 80s both days.
